Load Binders
Fortune Rope & Metal Company offers two types of load binders to our customers — the standard lever type load binder, and the standard ratchet type load binder. Load binders are used to bind (or tighten) the chain that is being used to secure a load or structure so that it will not slip during shipping or transport. Fortune Rope has three standard lever type load binders available (that can handle 1/4", 5/16" to 3/8", and 3/8" to 1/2" chain) with a working load limit (WLL) from 2,600 to 9,200 pounds. There are five standard ratchet type load binders offered that can handle chains ranging in size from 1/4" to 5/8", with a WLL from 2,600 to 13,000 pounds.
